The rumor has it that FC Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola wants Barça’s President Joan Laporta to buy Inter’s Zlatan Ibrahimović. According to Italy’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will receive Barcelona’s Samuel Eto o, 28, and about 30 million euro in exchange for the 27-year-old forward from Sweden.
And Ibrahimović, who was recently awarded the prestigious title “Serie A Top Scorer 2009â€Â, doesn’t seem to have anything against the Spanish team. In fact, in an interview with Sweden’s Sportbladet, Ibrahimović reveals he truly admires FC Barcelona. â€ÂIt feels like Barcelona is playing football like the game will be played in 2015“, he says. On the question what makes him feel that way, Ibrahimović replies: “Everything… what do you want me to say? Try to take the ball from them if you can… They do everything right. Guardiola seems to have everything under control.â€Â
According to the Swedish newspaper, Ibrahimović’s agent Mino Raiola has said that Zlatan will be sold if they get a really great offer. At the same time, Inter’s president Massimo Moratti has reportedly stated that Inter will not let Ibrahimović go for less than 70 million euro.
Ibrahimović has been playing in Italy for five years. The first two years for Juventus and the last three for Inter.
